There is no Beginning to a Transformation
There is actually no beginning, nor an end..... to anything. It is existance that is visible and experienced. And that resides in the present...the 'now'. Infact, by the time you have read this sentence, the beginning of this blog has lapsed into your past. And now that you re read it, it is a re visit, so technically, no longer a beginning!! Hope you got the curved ball I literally threw at you!
There is no past or future in the real world. They are just thoughts projected as images and a voice in our heads, which keep repeating themselves in incessent loops, influencing our very behaviours and manifesting as our 'personalities'. We spend so much time in our recollected past and percieved future, that we do not grasp the value of our immediate present. This is a fleeting moment, a diaphanous entity, constantly vanisihing into oblivion if we do not mark a mental marker to it. And that is what nature has bestowed us with, the ability to 'time stamp' the present and view it either as an association of the past or a probability of the future.So choose the quality of your 'time stamps', they shall decide the state of the present you have had the privilege of living as a recollection, that either empowers or disempowers you.
We at Leadership Tribe are alive to the primacy of the NOW in our existance. Our creation had to be. It gave us the identity of the organism that we are. We train and coach with the 'know' that our lives are created by what we have shaped as the 'past' and the 'future'......existing as thoughts and translated as a mind language, which we engage with our own selves all through the day and the wakeful parts of our nights. Our approach is to deal with the 'present' and alter the mental conversations to either erase unproductive thoughts or create productive ones that elicit a desired action, resulting in fulfilled outcomes. And that is the Leadership Tribe defintion of 'Transformation'. For the seeds of true 'transformation' occurs as a mind event, the rest is a physical manifestation of an inevitable process that is a guaranteed follow through!
No empowering thought, driven by the zeal of energy and perseverence of human desire can ever remain dormant in the realms of the imagination and consiousness. It will break through in the form of definitve actions and clear outcomes. The aspect that we all address as the 'transformation'...the 'beginning' of a new era. But, is that so? Did the transformation happen the moment we saw the behaviour enacted upon and labelled it such? I know I am getting heavy with each of the key phrases that i am embedding in this blog, but stay with me.....mind matters need to be read by the unconsious....and the unconcious loves working in mysterious ways.....allow it to open up. So, I reiterate myself, when does real transformation begin to happen?. Did it occur for Gautam Buddha when he sat under the Bodhi tree? Did it happen to Mohan Das Gandhi when he was unceremoniously kicked out from the train? Was it when Rosa Parks refused to obey what the bus driver had ordered her to? or was it when Ray Kroc met the Mc Donald brothers the first time? Your guess is as good as mine. But the obvious deduction comes forth - Transformations happen in the NOW.....it happens..it does not begin nor end...it just happens; so be alive to it. Transformations have no beginnings, they arise from intentions, they manifest from a discomfort. A discomfort borne from the uselesness and irrelevance of the past and future. When all that matters is the value of the present and the express need to set forth actions post haste.
This new year is giving us an opportunity, to either ruminate on the deeds of our past and perils of the future, and allow them to drive our present. Or.....Act on the present using the power of a hope of the future and the learnings of the past. We at Leadership Tribe shall enable you to be fully engaged with your present, and deal with your mental events is a more powerful way in a manner that those internal conversations inside your head sound more assertive, functional and productive. Only then will the fulfillment be complete. Only then shall the Leader in you emerge. Only then shall the Tribe prosper!
